Mrs Anna Mary Senn

At 90 years of age and after a full life, Anna Mary Hutchison Senn, died on December 21, 2014. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 17, 1924, she was the daughter of Edward N. and Alice “Peggy” (nee Blottenberger) Hutchison. A life’s first season in Baltimore included her incorrigible sister Ruth Jacqueline, streetcars, rationing, V-E and V-J days, graduation from Mount Saint Agnes College, a first job as a bank teller and marriage, in 1950, to her beloved husband, Roland Leon Senn, Jr. A second life season brought her to Canandaigua, New York where she and Roland raised three children and an assortment of pets, established life-long friendships, perfected an eggnog recipe, honed her Bridge game, hosted fabulous holiday dinners and finally, at age 40, learned to drive. Her longest life season found her in Georgia. She became an established employee of the Department of Children and Family Services in several county offices, an active member of her cherished Church of the Good Shepherd, a community servant through the Covington Women’s Service Guild and an unforgettable grandmother “Mumps” to her six precious grandchildren. Remembering her life and legacy are her children Amy and Bruce Clutcher of Palmyra, PA; Paul and Alicia (Wilson) Senn of Oxford, GA; Andrew “AB” and Valerie (Raines) of Covington, GA; her grandchildren Jamin and Erin Clutcher and great granddaughter, Hadley of Brooklyn, NY; Alissa (Clutcher) and Dhilan Thuraisingham and great grandson, Isaiah of Huntington Beach, CA; Anna Clutcher of Oakland, CA; Ashley Senn of Covington, GA; Samantha (Senn) and Christopher Lunsford and great granddaughter, Selah of Griffin, GA; Shaun Senn of Covington, GA and Austin Raines of Covington, GA. We remember her as a lover of hats, shoes and always good accessories; of proper manners; as a wicked card shark; and one who gave all she had of love.
