Quinton Hawk Fambrough

Quinton Hawk Fambrough, 66, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Piedmont Newton. Quinton was born in Covington, GA to the late Harvey and Lois (Hawk) Fambrough. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Harvey and Butch Fambrough. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 22 years Stephanie Byrd, his sons Steven, Craig, and Adam Fambrough, his daughter Kimberly Alexander, grandchildren Kobi, Talon, Gavin, Camren, Wrenna, and Lively. And other loving family members. He was one of a kind. He was born and raised in Covington, Georgia and loved his small town. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them with everything he had. His kids were his life, no matter how far or near. His grandkids were his sunshine, and when his first granddaughter came along you could see his world just got a little brighter and better. Then he was blessed with a second granddaughter on his birthday, and he was over the moon. He always stated that, “It was the best birthday present he ever got”. He loved all of his grandkids and telling everyone about them whenever he got a chance. Quinton never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. He was just a good soul. He was a member of Pace Lodge 558. He loved and respected his brothers and the charitable events that they contributed to the community. His life was to make people’s lives a little happier and to help anyone that needed it. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or contribute to a good cause. He was selfless and would try to make someone laugh or smile whenever he could. He was one of the good ones, he was ours. His sweet smile will forever be missed. Until we see you again, watch over us and keep us safe. Fly high and go sit up on that mountain.
