She was preceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank H. “Boots” Robertson; brothers, Calvin Hammons, Harold Hammons and Bobby Hammons, sisters; Irene Cleveland, Margie Smith, Kathleen Walden and Diane Spurling. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Christi and Darrell Register, grandsons, Jared and Jordan Register, her brother Joe (Ann) Hammons, sister Jane (Earnest) Yates and sister in law Kathleen Hammons. Bertie Louise was a homemaker, and enjoyed canning vegetables, sewing, quilting, and crafts. She was a creative person. Louise loved spending time with her family. She became a Christian at the age of 28. Louise devoted her life to the Lord, as she became quite the philanthropist giving to many organizations across the globe to help people of other nations. Great will be her reward for her faithfulness. Praise God another link in the family circle has made it to her heavenly home. She was so loved, and will be greatly missed. A Service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2pm at Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services located at 11405 Brown Bridge Road Covington, Georgia. With Pastor Chris Walden, and Pastor C. A. Register officiating. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery 315 Oglesby Bridge Rd Conyers, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 6pm-8pm at Wheeler Funeral Home. Due to the current COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve. Please understand we will be following the State’s COVID guidelines. We also ask all guests and family members attending visitations and services to please bring and wear a mask while in the building, and are encouraged to practice social distancing.
