He was born February 7, 1976, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Alfredo and Xiomara (Santana) Mejia. Ivanof was a devoted son, husband, father, and friend, who left this world after a life marked by love, hard work, and kindness. Ivanof met the love of his life, Maria, and together they built a life filled with joy and family. They were married in 2007, and their bond grew stronger over the years. They lived for a few beautiful years in Homestead before moving to Covington, Georgia, where they raised their three beloved children: Ivanof Jr., Julius, and Ibony. Ivanof was a dedicated family man who shared his passion for cars with his sons, spending countless hours together working on vehicles and creating memories. A man of ambition and determination, Ivanof founded Safe-Line Transportation, a successful trucking business that he later passed down to his son, Ivanof Jr., ensuring that his legacy would live on. Known for his generous and selfless spirit, Ivanof was loved by many. His kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his unwavering generosity and dedication to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and hard work that will forever be cherished by his family and friends. Ivanof will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He is preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Mejia. His memory will forever be cherished by his wife, Maria (Molina) Mejia; his children and their spouses, Ivanof and Andreanna (Williams) Mejia, Jr., Julius and Whitney (Thomas) Mejia, Ibony (Mejia) and Duane Romany; his mother, Xiomara (Santana) Mejia; brother, Edwin and Matilda Mejia; sisters, Wendy Mejia and Melissa Mejia. Funeral Services for Ivanof will be he held Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 5:00 pm at Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services with Deacon Fred Johns officiating.
